Chočske mountains

Are among the less known Slovak mountains.

Chočské Mountains is a low mountain range situated between the massifs of the West Tatras and Veľká Fatra. The dominant feature of the range is the peak Veľký Choč. These small but beautiful mountains offer many opportunities for hiking due to their wonderful valleys, high mountain walls, towers of unusual shapes and interesting flora and fauna.
